The Timken Company is a global industrial leader with a growing portfolio of engineered bearings and power transmission product brands. With more than
a century of knowledge and innovation,
we continuously improve the reliability and efficiency of global industries to move the world forward.
How? We work with NASA to explore the mysteries of Mars. We partner with renewable-energy companies to power some of the world’s largest wind turbines.
We help engineers improve global transportation, including drilling the world’s longest rail tunnel.
From electric motors to agricultural implements to food processing equipment, we engineer Timken ball bearings to perform in a wide range of applications and conditions.
Deep Groove Ball Bearings
Timken deep groove ball bearings deliver reliable performance in a wide range of applications and conditions. With super-finished raceways and controlled internal geometries,
our premium design helps ensure consistent quality.
Timken® Corrosion-Resistant Deep Groove Ball Bearings
Timken® corrosion-resistant deep groove ball bearings are an ideal fit for a variety of demanding applications. Constructed with stainless rings, rolling elements, and cages,
our bearings can improve uptime in a variety of harsh environments.
Timken® Angular Contact Ball Bearings are designed to handle both radial and axial loading,
and are specifically engineered for use in high-speed and high precision applications.
Precision High-speed applications for ultra-precision equipment require tight tolerances and super-fine surface finishes.
Timken precision ball bearings, which deliver higher yields and lower costs, are the perfect choice.
Timken® single-row EMA series cylindrical roller bearings incorporate a unique cage design, proprietary internal geometry and special surface textures,
available in a wide variety of size ranges and configurations.
Timken® two-row, or double-row, cylindrical bearings offer added radial capacity and are interchangeable. Dimensions and diameters
under the rollers (NNU style) and over the rollers (NN style) meet ISO standards.
Timken® four-row cylindrical roller bearings withstand the rigors of daily use in applications where moderate and high speeds, high radial loads,
levated temperatures and extreme debris present constant challenges.
Single Row Full Complement
Full-complement (NCF) single-row Timken® bearings include integral flanges on the inner and outer rings. These bearings also can manage axial
loads in one direction and permit small axial displacements.
Double Row Full Complement
Two-row or double row cylindrical roller bearings are used in gear drives, rolling mills, and machine tools. The bearings are designed for additional
strength and are used when the application carries radial loads.
Timken® ADAPT™ combines cylindrical and spherical roller bearing designs into one easy-to-assemble, high-capacity configuration. It's ideal for
applications with combined misalignment and axial displacement.
Spherical Plain Bearings
Spherical plain bearings can carry high-capacity radial and axial loads in a small envelope due to a large contact area and ideal for static
oscillatory applications found in the mining and construction industries.
Timken’s spherical plain bearings (SPBs), or bushings, are metal-on-metal bearings consisting of a spherically
ground inner ring housed in a mating outer ring without any rolling elements. While all plain bearings are precision
ground and made from through-hardened steel, custom orders are available and can include special materials, clearances,
surface finishes or configurations to accommodate unique applications.
Size range: Available from 12.7 mm – 600 mm (0.500 in. to 23.622 in.) bore
Radial Spherical Plain Bearings with Lip Seals
This series of plain bearings is similar to the SF and FS types, but also includes lip seals that are retained in the outer ring and withstand high grease pressures during lubrication.
These lip seals assure full distribution of the lubricant to all bearing surfaces and protect against internal contamination. While all of our plain bearings are precision ground and
made from through-hardened steel, custom orders are available and can include special materials, clearances, surface finishes or configurations to accommodate unique applications.
Available in inch and metric sizes from 12.7mm to 600mm (.5 in. to 23.622 in.) bore
Angular Contact Thrust Spherical Plain Bearings
Timken’s spherical plain bearings (SPBs), or bushings, are metal-on-metal bearings consisting of a spherically ground inner ring housed in a mating outer ring without any rolling elements.
While all plain bearings are precision ground and made from through-hardened steel, custom orders are available and can include special materials, clearances, surface finishes or
configurations to accommodate unique applications. Our SBT and SBDT designs feature lubricating holes and grooves in the outer ring for easy relubrication through the housing.
Available in inch and metric sizes from 12.7 mm to 600 mm (.5 in. to 23.622 in.) bore
Rings manufactured from hardened steel help deliver consistent, reliable performance.
Phosphate-treated rings coated with molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) minimize friction of contacting surfaces.
Simplified housing and shaft designs reduce installation time.
A-frames, dump cylinders, front and rear struts, and steering cylinders for mining trucks
Equalizer track bars, lift and tilt cylinders, push blades, trunnion balls and ripper blades for bulldozers
Articulated joint upper and lower steering cylinders and boom and bucket cylinders for wheel loaders
Stick and bucket cylinders for hydraulic excavators
Additional applications for space shuttles, heavy movable structures and miscellaneous vehicles
Misalignment. Contamination. High temperatures. Even extreme speeds or critical stresses can present extra challenges when managing high radial loads.
Timken® spherical roller bearings can handle it all, with innovations designed to extend bearing life and boost reliability.
Steel and Brass Cage
Timken® Spherical Roller Bearings with hardened steel cages deliver greater fatigue strength, increased wear-resistance and tougher protection
against shock and acceleration.
Timken® Spherical Roller Bearings with brass cages provide extra strength and durability in the most unrelenting conditions, including extreme shock and vibration,
high acceleration forces and minimal lubrication.
